Repair orders on the Mac

Browse estimates and repair orders, read the lines and totals, and move an order between stages.

The Repair orders screen lists estimates and orders. You will be able to follow an order from approval to ready.

Before you start #

You need the advisor, technician, manager or owner role.

Steps #

  1. Choose Repair orders in the sidebar. Search by number, customer, vehicle or concern.
  2. Select an order. The panel on the right shows the customer, vehicle, concern, lines and total.
  3. For a repair order that is open, choose a stage button: Approved, In progress, Waiting for parts or Ready. Completing an order goes through its invoice in the web console.
  4. An estimate shows its lines and total. It becomes a repair order when the customer approves it.

Offline #

When the server cannot be reached, a banner on the screen shows when this Mac saved the copy you are looking at. Changes you make wait in the queue and go to the server when the connection returns. See "Working offline on the Mac".
