When a Pop Street Commerce licence ends: what keeps working and what pauses

Your shop keeps taking orders and your data stays yours. Only adding products, publishing and new connections pause until you renew.

Updated Oct 25, 2026

A licence ending does not stop your business. Here is exactly what happens.

Before the end date

Pop Street Commerce shows a reminder in the console 30 days before the end date and again 14 days before. Plenty of time to renew.

The grace period

After the end date, everything keeps working for the number of grace days shown on your licence. You can find that number on your Licence page.

After the grace period

These keep working:

  • Your online shop, customer accounts, checkout and buying.
  • Signing in, the register, orders, shipping, payments and stock changes.
  • The Licence page and the help guides.
  • Every export of your products, orders and customers. See Exporting your data.

These turn read-only until you renew:

  • Adding products, importing and building a catalogue in bulk.
  • Publishing to marketplaces and changing listings or channels.
  • Making any new marketplace connection.

You can still look at everything. You just cannot make those particular changes.

Perpetual and lifetime licences

These have no end date, so nothing here applies to them. Their updates date only decides which new releases you may download. See Updates and releases.

Suspended or withdrawn licences

If a licence is suspended or withdrawn, Pop Street Commerce learns this the next time it checks in, and then applies the same limits as above.

If the licence server cannot be reached

Nothing locks. Pop Street Commerce keeps the last good answer, and the dates signed into your licence decide what is allowed. A temporary outage never restricts you.

"Not included in your licence"

Some licences cover only certain parts of Pop Street Commerce. If you open a part outside your licence, you see a short message saying so. Ask us if you would like to add it.

Renewing

After we confirm your renewal, open the Licence page and press Check with the licence server now. Everything switches back on straight away. See Entering your licence key.
