Selling on Amazon with Pop Street Commerce, including FBA

What Amazon needs from you, what Pop Street Commerce does for listings, stock and orders, and how FBA stock is kept separate.

Updated Oct 25, 2026

Amazon has the biggest audience and the most paperwork. Start the approvals early, because they set your schedule.

Where it stands: the Amazon connection is built and works in sample mode. It has not yet been run against a live seller account, so your first live listing is a careful test. It needs approvals that belong to you.

What you need

  1. A Professional seller account in Seller Central, with your identity verified.
  2. Permission for gated brands and categories. Amazon decides this.
  3. Barcode numbers (GTINs) for branded products, or an exemption for your own unbranded goods. Never invent one.
  4. Developer registration by your account's primary user, with the Product Listing role approved.
  5. A private app that you authorise in Seller Central. It gives Pop Street Commerce its access to your account.
  6. A product type chosen for each of your shelves.

What Pop Street Commerce does

  • Listings. It checks a listing with Amazon first, shows you any problems, then sends it.
  • Stock and price. It sends only what you can ship yourself.
  • Orders. It brings them in every few minutes and sends tracking back when you ship.

Some buyer details may be blank on live orders, because Amazon limits what it shares.

FBA

FBA means Fulfilment by Amazon. Amazon stores your units in its warehouses, then packs and ships the orders.

  • Pop Street Commerce reads Amazon's count of fulfillable units into a separate FBA location. See Stock locations explained.
  • FBA orders arrive already shipped. They never reduce your own stock and need no label.
  • Send stock to Amazon with a transfer. See Transfers between locations. Reading an inbound shipment's progress is checked less thoroughly than other parts, so the Inbound page also works from your own transfers.
  • Multi-channel fulfilment is off by default. If you turn it on, Amazon can fill orders from your other channels. Pop Street Commerce shows Amazon's quote first and creates nothing until you confirm.

Fees

Fee figures in Pop Street Commerce are estimates you can edit, not Amazon's rate card. Check your Amazon statements.
