Selling on Walmart with Pop Street Commerce, including WFS
Walmart approves sellers first. Here is what you need, how Pop Street Commerce lists and syncs, and how WFS stock is kept apart.
Updated Oct 25, 2026
Walmart reviews every seller before they can list. After approval, Pop Street Commerce sends your items through Walmart's seller connection.
Where it stands: the Walmart connection is built and works in sample mode. A few field names in Walmart's answers are checked on the first live call, so make your first live listing a test. Walmart's approval is yours to obtain.
What you need
- An approved Walmart Marketplace seller account. Timing and outcome are Walmart's.
- A key pair. In Seller Center, open Settings, then API Key Management. You get a client ID and a secret. Walmart has no one-tap sign-in for individual sellers, so you paste these into Pop Street Commerce once. They are stored encrypted.
- Barcode numbers (GTINs) for your items. Products without one are blocked from publishing, and Pop Street Commerce says which.
- A Walmart product type for each shelf.
- Shipping and return settings in Seller Center.
What Pop Street Commerce does
- Lists your items, choosing the right kind of upload for new or existing items.
- Sends your own stock and prices.
- Brings orders in, confirms them and sends tracking back.
- Shows Walmart's returns.
If you would rather not connect yet, Pop Street Commerce produces an item set-up file you can upload by hand in Seller Center.
WFS
WFS means Walmart Fulfillment Services. Walmart stores your stock, packs and ships the orders and handles customer service on them, for fees. You need WFS enabled on your seller account.
- In Seller Center, create the inbound shipment. Walmart gives you a shipment number and box labels.
- In Pop Street Commerce, create a transfer from your storage to Walmart (WFS), with that shipment number as the reference, and send it. See Transfers between locations.
- On the WFS page, tell Pop Street Commerce which transfer matches the shipment.
- When Walmart reports the shipment complete, Pop Street Commerce receives the transfer for you. Any shortfall is recorded on the transfer line.
Creating the inbound shipment itself stays in Seller Center.
How WFS stock behaves
- WFS stock is Walmart's number. Each check overwrites the WFS location with what Walmart reports.
- Your own shop, eBay and other channels never sell WFS stock.
- WFS orders arrive already shipped and do not reduce your own stock.
Fees
Percentages in Pop Street Commerce are estimates you can edit. Compare them with Walmart's statements. Start with a few fast sellers rather than tying up lots of stock.
