What we need from you
A checklist of what to gather before and during set-up: logo, photos, policies, marketplace and payment accounts, and a mailing address.

Most delays at launch come from waiting for one small item. Gather these early and set-up goes smoothly. Send what you can, and tell us if something does not exist yet.
For your store
- Your logo. The biggest file you have, ideally a vector file. If you only have a small picture, we can redraw it and you approve the result.
- Product photos. Your own photos are best. A plain, light background and at least 1000 pixels on the long side works well. We never copy a photo from the internet unless its licence allows it, and then we store the credit. See Adding products and photos.
- Your product list. Names, prices, what each costs you, how many you have and barcodes where they exist.
- Your policies. Plain words for shipping and returns. Shoppers see this text, so you write it. It stays hidden on a live store until you do.
- Your business details. Legal name, address and anything your accountant tells you to show.
For selling on marketplaces
- Your own seller account on each marketplace you want. Marketplace approvals belong to you. We cannot open or approve them for you.
- Permission to sell certain brands or categories, where the marketplace asks for it.
- Barcode numbers (GTINs) for branded products. Never invent one. See the Glossary.
- Shipping and return settings inside each marketplace account.
Start with Marketplace approvals and timelines, because some approvals take weeks.
For payments
- A payment account with the card provider you choose. You open it and complete its identity checks yourself, and your bank account details go into the provider's own page.
- Your accountant's view on sales tax. The tax setting is a starting point. Confirm it before you sell.
For email marketing
- A mailing address. The law in many places requires a postal address in marketing emails. We put it in your settings. Check the rules where you sell, because we cannot give legal advice.
- An email sender address on your own domain.

A word on passwords
Never send us a password or a full key by email. We will show you where to enter each one yourself.
